The Cook Labor Government is delivering real support for women and girls in sport, ensuring they have the facilities and opportunities they deserve to participate and excel.

As part of our $6 million Boosting Women and Girls Participation in Sport program, we’re investing in new and upgraded changerooms facilities; registration and recruitment events to encourage participation; funding for equipment; and travel support for competitions; to increase female participation in community sport.

Right here in South Perth, we’re investing $2 million towards new women’s changerooms at the South Perth Rugby Club in George Burnett Park, providing better facilities and ensuring more women and girls can get involved in the game they love, closer to home.
