The Cook Labor Government announced a $2 million investment to plan for a new indoor sports facility in the inner southern suburbs. The funding will go towards assessing various locations and design options for the facility, including the number of courts and other complementary features.

I’ve been strongly advocating to make this a reality because I know how much it means to our community. This is the first step in addressing the long-standing issues of overflowing courts, long waits, and a lack of proper facilities for sports like basketball and volleyball, and I’m committed to seeing it through.
