The Cook Labor Government's careful economic management has allowed us to invest in record health and education funding and expand affordable housing. We are building better infrastructure, supporting small businesses, and creating local jobs across South Perth and beyond, doing what's right for WA. 

But we can do more with a steady hand at the wheel.

We will continue investing in schools and local clubs, delivering safer roads, and ensuring families in South Perth have the support they need to thrive. Our commitments are backed by being in government - realistic, properly costed, achievable, and deliverable. But let’s be clear: none of this will happen unless I’m re-elected as your local member.

My plan for South Perth includes the confirmed and fully funded commitments below:

Delivering on crime and safety: 

  • $30,000 for an ANPR camera on Mill Point Road.
  • $75,000 for a mobile CCTV camera
  • $50,000 for safety lighting across South Perth. 

Delivering for local schools:

  • $30 mil to Como Secondary College to commence Stage 1 redevelopment upgrades
  • $125,000 to Como Primary School for capital works upgrades.
  • $50,000 to St Colomba's Primary School for new fencing.
  • $125,000 to South Perth Primary School for resurfacing of the basketball courts.
  • $125,000 to Kensington Primary School for Air conditioning.
  • $100,000 to Collier Primary School for a carpark upgrade, new carpet and pin boards.
  • $50,000 to Clontarf College for music equipment
  • $20,000 to McDougall Kindy for crash mats, books, and a security alarm

Delivering for local sports clubs: 

  • $2 mil to South Perth Rugby Club for upgrades
  • $90,000 to Manning Bowls Club for new greens and lighting.
  • $120,000 to South Perth Junior Cricket Club for new cricket nets at Manning Primary.
  • $125,000 to Como Bowls Club for the greens expansion
  • $25,000 to Manning Rippers Football Club for a spectators awning
  • $20,000 to Hensman Park Tennis Club for solar panels and battery
  • $30,000 to Trinity Aquinas FC & South Perth Baseball Club for new scoreboards

Delivering for community: 

  • $39.5 mil to Ngala for parenting services
  • $10,000 to Manning Men's Shed for new tools
  • $20,000 to City of South Perth for shade at Manning Laneway
  • $100,000 to Manning Senior Citizens Assoc for Bus garage
  • $10,000 to Soroptimists International for new equipment
  • $25,000 to South Perth and Manning Toy Libraries for specialist toys
  • $30,000 to Como Theatre for a hearing loop
  • $75,000 to Old Mill Theatre for new seats and carpets
  • $10,000 to South Perth Society of Arts and Crafts for a storage unit
  • $60,000 to Local Environmental Groups via City of South Perth for tree planting
