Fuel Support Payment
From 1 July 2026, eligible Western Australians can receive a one-off $100 Fuel Support Payment to help with everyday fuel costs—part of the State Government’s commitment to easing cost-of-living pressures.
What’s included?
This one-off payment is available to people who hold a valid Western Australian driver’s licence, including learner, provisional, and extraordinary licenses.
How to claim
1. Download MyID to your phone if you haven't already - https://www.myid.gov.au/
2. Follow the instructions at this link to setup the app - https://www.myid.gov.au/how-to-set-up-myid
NOTE: You will need a minimum of Standard ID strength to make your fuel claim. Your driver's license and Medicare card details will be enough.
3. Download the ServiceWA - https://www.wa.gov.au/organisation/servicewa/servicewa-app/servicewa-app-support-hub
4. Follow the prompts in the app to setup your ServiceWA app.
5. Once you are in the Home screen, tap 'Link a service'.
6. You will see a list of services. Scroll down to 'Offers' and tap on that.
7. The new screen will should show the Fuel Support Payment as the first link. Tap 'Find out more'.
8. Take note of the details on the next screen and tap 'Claim now' at the bottom.
9. The next screen will ask for driver's license details. Enter that into the app and tap 'Continue'.
10. The app will then ask for your bank details. Make sure you enter the correct details as the payment will go directly to your bank account. Tap 'Continue' at the bottom.
11. You should get confirmation of your claim with a reference number. Note down the reference number in case you need to follow up with ServiceWA Customer Care.
12. And you're done!

PLEASE NOTE: Claims made via the paper form will take up to 8 weeks to process, so please allow enough time before the end of the year to make your claim.
If you are not able to fill in the paper form and post, the web-based electronic form will be made available from mid-July onwards. Keep an eye out for the announcement.
